Segmenter

A combination block-stacking brick-breaking game. Survive as long as you can against your own placement!

How to play:

Stack blocks up while the timer ticks down, then break as many as you can when the paddle appears. After the paddle timer expires, the game will switch back to stack mode.

Controls (keyboard-only for now):

arrow keys to move/place blocks

Z key to speed up paddle (can be swapped to slow down in options)

Space to launch ball 

ESC to go back/reset

Playable on Steam Deck! (if you map the controls yourself) (use Proton Experimental)

The dyson sphere has finally finished construction, but the autonomous robots sent to build it have gone rogue. Now that they're all out of a job, they ignore all orders from their creators and have set all the factories to infinitely produce new parts for the megastructure. Only the experimental demolition drone "Segmenter" can hold off the infinite stream of components, but how long is anyone's guess...

Two-player mode unavailable in the jam version (planned for the future)
